NVIDIA GeForce4

I have a NVIDIA GeForce4 4200Ti and am unable to use Windows Movie Maker, Windows DVD Maker, and Aero Glass. I checked device manager and the video card is working. I went into color schemes in Control Panel and there are no options. If i try to turn on glass it does not work. What can I do to fix this?
I
also am unable to use Windows Flip and Flip 3D. Do I have to turn it on?

Windows Flip and Flip3D are all part of the Aero Glass experience - so if you don't have Glass, then you can't get the Flip3D or anything else that seems to be "enhanced".

Whether Vista is in Aero Glass or Aero Basic mode, the entire OS is still enhanced. Windows AERO is only one feature Zack, just that it looks like an enhanced suck. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

You need an NVIDIA GeForce 5 Series or Newer for Aero Glass to work to work with a NVIDIA Graphics Card, just FYI. P.S. I personnally recommend a NVIDIA GeForce 6800, also just FYI.

Have downloaded the nvidia Vista drivers from the Nvidia site? After installing Glass was working fine.
But I still have some problems with media center at this point.

It's not an error. But in full-screen the display flickers (blue/blackblue black etc..). IF I windomize the screen it is just black. In full screen I can see the welcome text (in the flickering) and I can get through the menus, until the video test (those happy people in the livingroom) starts. After that my machine hangs.
I have to say that I had an dual screen setup but I remove one monitor from tha back of my PC. In display settings it is still visible. Maybe it had noting to do with that?
I reinstalled the Nvidia drivers Beta 2. No luck.
I have to say that those drivers are very limited in my case according to setting possibilities. I only see 3d setup and dual screen setup. No display setting (depth, resolution etc..) and no icon in the tray (I dont know if it has to be there but on my XP machine there is a Nvidia logo there.)
I also installed (when the above didn't work) the ' drivers' for my monitor. Samsumg SYncmaster 214T. The videocard I use is an Nvidia 6800 with 512 MB mem.

I don't think you can get Aero Glass with that video card. I don't think it's a DX9 card, just a DX9 compatible card. "Wise Krettis" wrote in message
